Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

Jason Howard from the Windows Insider team has addressed whether firmware is
baked into Insider Builds. (For the same reason, it would not be baked into
    Cumulative Updates.)

Well, mine updated and no Firmware update came across!  Nobody waved a magic wand and updated the firmware to a newer version.  No Accumulative update came across either - only the Windows Insider Build and the Windows Defender descriptor file.  Nothing else came across.

Jason isn't on the Surface team, he is on the Windows Team. ONLY Surface engineering can answer this. And they remain silent.
