Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

October 10 release

    I'm glad I found this thread. Mine started showing these issues about 2-3 weeks ago. The worst I've had was a 60% drop in 4 hours when in sleep. It's sad as this unit is less than a month old :(

    Why does it need to remain off for 10-12 hours? That part seems weird. Other than that, it just sounds like a combination of reinstalling battery drivers and recalibrating. I’ve tried both separately but not in conjunction.

    Uninstall both then proceed to turn your Surface off and keep it off for about 10-12 hours
