Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

    After facing the same  problem lately i have noticed that my surface pro 6 will not charge to a 100%. It'll stop charging around 89-90%.

    last night i have the same problem on my SP4 i7. 100% Charged. On the next day 50% in 14 hours without AC

    14:26:28 Active Battery 104 % 36.742 mWh

    Is anyone else as tired of this as I am? 

    I shut down my fully charged laptop for the night, took a shower and brushed my teeth, then remembered something I needed to check, so I turn on my PC and see its 75% charge. 

    Every day it's a frustrating reminder that MS has failed to address a notable problem on the most expensive laptop I've ever bought! It's been almost a month.
