Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

October 10 release

    Can you reconfirm that when you joined the Insiders Ring that you were offered and INSTALLED the 9/4 firmware update?

    Just to make it clear again for everyone. The Windows update doesn't fix anything. You have to update the firmware of your device.

    I just started my PC after its first overnight shutdown after installing the 1909 build and I'm sorry to say that there is still something odd that occurred.

    My battery indicator showed that my PC started up with 85% power rather than a full charge... However, a batter report shows that no charge was lost. This is the first time I've seen the report and the indicator contradict each other. Currently, my PC is apparently recharging from 85%, although the battery report says it was at 99% to begin with. 

    *UPDATE*

    Newly generated battery report now contradicts the previous one!

    Thanks. I can also confirm after installing 1909 tonight, my surface laptop 2 no longer drains to 75% whilst off. Battery life during use remains to be seen.
