Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

    This is how I disabled it

    From an administrator command prompt:

    powercfg.exe /hibernate off

    I've tried multiple things from this thread and this is the only thing that has worked for me (so far).

    How specifically did you disable hibernation, because as far as I know, I’ve had it disabled this whole time. 

    Not to be pessimistic, but it seems that a number of people, including myself, have declared the problem “fixed” only to return and say that it’s back within a couple of days.

    Yes it is with a surface laptop 2. I've only tried it one time though. I will update if the problem returns.

    I can confirm that the 100% to 75% battery drain after shutdown issue has been fixed on my Surface Laptop 2 by disabling hybernation. 

    I need to test it for a few days to see how the battery holds up. So far so good.
