Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

I can say the same thing now - no power loss and now my Laptop is showing it has about 7.5 hours of battery life which is a heck of a lot better than when I got it.

    Good to go!

Just to confirm that the recent firmware update from preview ring fixed my battery issue. Good luck for you all :)

Correction on my last - that is "Cumulative update" for which 1903 is already current version.  These usually come out to prepare for the next upgrade.  The next major upgrade should be coming out anytime soon.  Have not seen if there is a delay or not.

I did see some talk of RTM 1903 mentioned and it is "supposed" to be released this month.  This month is almost over with, so keep an eye out on Windows Update (not unless Microsoft delayed the release).
