Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?
The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

SP6 here. Just to keep you informed:
Installed the Sept 4th firmware on Saturday. Everything has stayed fixed since then. 75% battery and 0,4ghz issue. The 0,4ghz problem was even worse than the 75% battery problem. Bought my SP6 in the beginning of August and can finally enjoy the product.
I hope the other surface devices get a fix soon, too. Thanks to everyone for staying with us here.

Btw... IF and IF the issue is fixed, how can you unsubscribe form Windows Insider Programme?
I thought with last update I got this sorted out, and I unlinked my account, and I thought I was unsubscribed, but later on I found that I had no account linked, but I was in the release preview ring and getting those updates.
How to stop it? I just have to tick the "stop getting preview builds"?
But when next major release gets installed, I've to remember to tick it again?

I experienced no power drop this morning. However, I won't declare the problem fixed just yet. I've thought it was fixed before only to have it reemerge in a day or two. Let's all cross our fingers.
