Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

My Surface Laptop 2 was just updated with firmware 145.501.139.0.

No details on this update posted yet, will let you know if this fixes the battery fiasco.

Same, SL2 and I just got this firmware update.

I was 75% in charge when restarted and I was still 75% when back, but means nothing... I guess

I'll see what will happens in next days.

Googeling that firmware version, I find some new Reddit topics where seems it fixed the issue... but couple reply does not make a case :)

Worked for me on insider release preview ring. You don't even have to update to the 1909 build. Just install the firmware and the cumulative september patch.

I no longer have the 100-75% battery drain after shutdown on my Surface Laptop 2. Kinda weird they needed two months to acknowledge and fix this problem.

I just installed this update as well. When I restarted to complete the installation there was an apparent 14% power drop. It was plugged in the whole time. Not sure what this means, but I'll share my findings.
