Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

Firmware should show under Driver Updates.

Can you check device manager for the firmware version for your Surface Laptop 2 for this firmware? The version shown below is the last public release documented at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4469839/surface-laptop-2-update-history - what version does your SL2 show?

    Surface System Aggregator - Firmware

I looked at the update history and no "KB" numbers are listed.  In fact, it only mentions the Preview Builds by number only.  In fact, only the Drivers and Windows Defender displays any kind of list.

I do not think that firmware is distributed with builds and not documented. I
    have asked for clarification.
