Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

October 10 release

    Looks like the fix "did" work for a short time and is back doing it again and am on the machine with Build 18985.  I am noticing sub-letters to the build numbers lately and got two builds in the same number of days.  I think that they are working on it and since my Laptop is only used for testing and general use, I do not use it as a daily driver.

    For firmware - in the past, I have looked up "KB" numbers and usually get TechRepublic as the source with the answers.

    With a power drop like what these are getting, you just cannot rely on these machines in a mobile fashion unless you have an A/C outlet nearby and take the charger with you.  Really a shame.  My Pro 3 has the RTM release on it and generally don't use it much either.

    Been spending a LOT of time on my iMac and my MacBook Pro!  These Surface machines are becoming decorations.

    The firmware comes built into the build.  You will not see it on the update list.

    Do you guys have a new firmware update after enrolling to release preview on Surface Laptop 2?

    Just got my replacement and depsite the fact that I've paused the updates it updated to the problematic firmware once again.

    EDIT: there isn't any firmware update on release preview ring.

    Just checked my Laptop and the same thing - dropped to 75% and that is with Build 18985.
