Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

    I've got the impression, too, that the battery life is way too short. Just a few hours. I have no comparison because I bought it innthe beginning of August when the "74/75% battery problem" was already there.

    No because lots of us have measurable worse battery time on our devices after these issues started to appear.

    I observed an even stranger problem where the reading from battery report has diverged from the battery icon. After waking the system up from hibernate, the battery icon report that the battery is only 71% and is charging. However, when I further investigate into the battery report, the battery report says that the battery is 98% when the report being generated.
