Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

This should be available on Windows Update:

October 10 release

The following updates are available for all Surface Laptop 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

    There is nothing that I know of in any of those updates that addresses Surface

    battery issues.

    I'll definitely keep everyone updated.

    In the meantime, I'll once again remind anyone who is having this issue to report it via the Feedback Hub, and to upvote other people's reports. Bringing attention to the issue online via social media will probably help as well. Companies only get serious about addressing issues like this when they become so well known that it starts to make them look bad. If they can write it off as just a handful of people they'll ignore it. They're definitely aware of the issue, so it's just a matter of how high it is on their priorities list.

    I have an SP4 and my battery consistently charges over 100%. Is this a potential sign of the battery getting ready to swell or is it a calibration issue?

    Just want to update that as of 9/2/7:09am I installed those same recent updates listed by Andrew7783. My Surface Pro 6 was 100% but after it restarted it showed 90% even with the device plugged in to a Surface Dock Station. I am also noticing that my Surface battery icon is not showing a charge connector plugged in and not showing the device being charged, instead it acts as if I am using battery only. I guess back to the same problem again.....
