Pen pressure and tapering problems

I love the new SP4 pen, but I've noticed the pen pressure is not consistent. The biggest problem is that paint brush strokes in Photoshop don't taper smoothly when drawing. I tired using the SP4 pen on my Surface Pro 3 and it doesn't have any problem. Here is a screen capture of what I'm talking about.

Since the pen isn't the problem I'm assuming it's a calibration issue with the Surface Pro 4. I downloaded new Wintab drivers to see if that would solve the problem (got the idea from this thread about pen problems).

It's not just Photoshop. The actual Surface pen pressure app has the same problem. It's harder to see because the brush strokes are thinner, but there is a much faster tapering happening than there is on the Surface Pro 3. Here is a screen cap:

As some of you have already noticed, on July 14th, 2016, we released an update to the Surface Touch Driver that should significantly improve the pen tapering and pressure experience that this thread talks about.

    That's exactly what i did! And man, that's the best thing i've ever done in my life.

    I-N-M-Y-B-E-D. Who needs a desk with a CC2? You can live in your bed. Wohooooo  :'))

    Pleeeeeeeeease Ms fix this or at least provide some info on it and what you're doing!! This is such a perfect device in all other ways. I would not have bought something this expensive (i7 16GB) if i knew this before hand. I wanted to replace my desktop with something as powerful, and the pen was 50% the reason i wanted a Surface. PLEASE

    I'm begining to ask myself if I should try to reverse engeneering it to fix it by myself but it migth take me a lot of time so I don't know if it is worth it, i don't want to waste weeks on this to finally see an update that fix it =/

    but microsoft it would help a lot if you oppen source just the pen imput and touch driver so I can mess with it easier 

    that would allow me to avoid all the reverse engineering ****
