Microsoft 365 Integration - Forced switched off

Click the Windows Start menu, select Settings, select Devices.  In the list of Bluetooth Devices you should see Surface Earbuds under the Audio section as well as LE Surface Earbuds under the Other devicessection.  When in the Surface Audio app and turning on Office integration this should do the pairing for the LE Surface Earbuds.  I am curious if  you see that pairing or not?

If the pairing of LE Surface Earbuds is there then Office integration should be turned on and the app is not detecting that for some reason.

If the pairing of LE Surface Earbuds is not there, then I would remove the Earbuds using the following step and then try re-pairing them again.

To remove Surface Earbuds:

1. Start the Surface Audio app.
2. Under the Devices drop down (on the left) make sure that Surface Earbuds is selected.
3. Select Remove Device under where is says Surface Earbuds at the top of the app.
4. Windows will prompt you to remove the pairing with Earbuds which you want to do.

Many thanks for the speedy reply.

I completed all the steps above and I received the prompt in the Surface Audio app to connect to LE Surface Earbuds.

However, the "Microsoft 365 Integration" slide button is now stuck, greyed out, in the "On" position.

I have tried to present and it doesn't change the slides but the subtitles use the Surface Earbuds as the microphone.

I have exited and re-opened the Surface Audio app and the  "Microsoft 365 Integration" slide button stays in the "On" position but greyed out.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I see both the Earbuds (for calls/audio) and the LE device, but the M365Integration slider is still disabled/greyed-out in the SurfaceAudio app...

Glad I'm not the only one!

I am currently reinstalling office and this article says that the gestures have to be activated when you right click on a slide, but this option is not there.

I got it to work!

NOTE: The option within Surface Audio is still greyed out and on much like @MicRiley's pictures and posts (thank you for those!).

However, I reinstalled Office and I am now a subscriber to the Office Insider program. This then did some updates and now, following the article in my previous post (and below), I had the options to "Surface Earbud Settings" which allows me to use gestures!

I think that the Surface Audio app needs a patch or fix this or for the PowerPoint update to be pushed out unless it has and my download was just an anomaly!

As a personal tip: If you have videos embedded within PowerPoint, make sure the speaker settings are the ones you want and not the Surface Earbuds! It wouldn't be great in a presentation if you were the only one listening to the content ;)
