This is also a problem for me. However, I do not have an option of Office Insider. Is there a time frame for a fix for this problem?

Hello All!
The option for Office Integration is switched off. When I try to switch it on, it switches off again automatically.
Everything is up to date and I'm not sure why this is happening. I will try on another device if I can.
Any help will be appreciated :)

I have shared this on LinkedIn to help anyone out with this!
And I'm also really happy that the tip is helpful too. I tried to play a video using the Surface Earbuds and it was silent until changing the settings to have the Surface Earbuds as the input only and then the speakers as output only.
If there is anything I can do to help, I am more than happy to!

NOTE: The option within Surface Audio is still greyed out and on much like @MicRiley's pictures and posts (thank you for those!).
However, I reinstalled Office and I am now a subscriber to the Office Insider program. This then did some updates and now, following the article in my previous post (and below), I had the options to "Surface Earbud Settings" which allows me to use gestures!
I think that the Surface Audio app needs a patch or fix this or for the PowerPoint update to be pushed out unless it has and my download was just an anomaly!
As a personal tip: If you have videos embedded within PowerPoint, make sure the speaker settings are the ones you want and not the Surface Earbuds! It wouldn't be great in a presentation if you were the only one listening to the content ;)

Glad I'm not the only one!
I am currently reinstalling office and this article says that the gestures have to be activated when you right click on a slide, but this option is not there.
