Surface Laptop 3 Restarting Randomly

I have the power settings set to NOT restart when the power is plugged in and NOT to go into sleep mode. 

Even with these settings the laptop restarts randomly. I'll be writing code and it restarts. Its random.

AMD Ryzen 7 Microsoft Surface Edition 2.30 GHz

16.0 GB RAM

    This did not work. Restarting continues. From my research it is happening to others as well. I cannot be writing code or giving a presentation and having it restart.

    What are my options. I purchased it from the Microsoft Online Store.

    I've been having the exact same problem. These are not BSOD, and Windows doesn't generate an error report, it simply turns off and back on again. As some others have suggested this appears to happen when using the laptop after it's been asleep--I have never experienced the issue when using the laptop after a full shutdown/boot cycle.

    In another thread I read that the issue might have to do with corrupted Windows image during manufacturing, and that reinstalling might fix the problem. I'm trying that now.

    Unfortunately mine is rebooting while in the middle of using it. Nothjng to do with sleep mode. 

    Thanks. Sad that ive spent soooo much on this laptop and its doing this. I cant believe it.

    Same, my is rebooting randomly, has nothing to do with a sleep. Sometimes reboots every 10 minutes, sometimes once in a 2 hours. Not BSOD, just reboot and in event viewer only shows critical error about unexpected restart.

    Returning mine and buying same one but with Intel CPU, if same thing happens then back to Apple, have Macbook Air from 2012, still going strong.
