I have the power settings set to NOT restart when the power is plugged in and NOT to go into sleep mode.
Even with these settings the laptop restarts randomly. I'll be writing code and it restarts. Its random.

We published new improvements and fixes for Surface Laptop 3 that improve device stability. You can get updates now by checking Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. We recommend that you install these updates to keep your Surface performing its best.

I returned the laptop. Microsoft doesn't seem to be taking this to seriously. This is a broken product as far as I'm concerned.
I am having this problem right now. 15' Laptop 3, AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM. Started the day after I took it out of the box, has persisted 4 months now. Driving me nuts recovering all these files I lose. Desperately seeking a solution.
Same issue here too. 15' laptop 3 AMD 16G/512G.
The computer will reboot randomly when using the stock charger. This never happen when using the battery.
I am also curious if this worked.
