Surface Laptop 3 Restarting Randomly

I have the power settings set to NOT restart when the power is plugged in and NOT to go into sleep mode.

Even with these settings the laptop restarts randomly. I'll be writing code and it restarts. Its random.

100% agree with this. Mine is crashing a lot less (about once a week), it is still always a ticking time bomb especially when you are on a Teams meeting presenting for work, and then... I don't know what to do as I need the keep using the laptop during these times.

Is the general consensus that a replacement is not the solution, as the newly shipped laptop still has the problems?

I'm also now finding the touch screen completely fails to operate after a while, and only a reboot fixes it.

Hard core fan noises, ...mouse freeze up, ..twangy speakers, ..I think it is an over priced lemon. Damn it is frustrating. One thing is for sure - I will never buy another MS laptop again. Never.

HEY MICROSOFT: How about an honest assessment of the situation and what you are doing to ensure it will be fixed?? I know it would be devastating for you to admit any fault. 1000x's of annoyed users here.

I am really angry with Microsoft ... F*** this sh**.

You are selling those things like good quality Laptops?

First, you don't mention that the AMR Ryzen is using 2gb of ram for the 8GB model anywhere and selling the 8gb Version as an 8gb Version. I, as an end-user, am not able to use that 2gb ram for my apps.

Second: This random rebooting is not fixed, the Laptop is more than 1 year out? I just went for a coffee, locking my surface Laptop 3, coming back: all work lost. Seriously? How is this considered in any way a proper device? I am so mad, I work for a client, and it's just doing it randomly. What is this? I gave you a chance Microsoft, because Apple also fu**s up nowadays, but at least I don't lose my work there every couple of days because of random reboots.

The other amazing thing is that you pretend that it's just a specific device problem, well I already changed my old device that had this problem for a refurbished (thank you btw that I have to use a refurbished device after 1 month).

Next time no Microsoft device for work anymore, for sure. Thanks for lost time and work

I keep hoping for a fix from Microsoft, but I'm still having the same issue of random reboots.
