I recently purchased a replacement case for my surface earbuds because the original case suffered some physical damage and the lid hinge broke. I have the replacement, but I don't know how to pair it with my existing earbuds.

Thank you for posting your inquiry here in Microsoft Community, AliHunsicker.

The Surface Earbuds are charging case specific, the earbuds only gets charge or work to the charging case provided after your purchase.

May I confirm to where did you purchase a replacement Surface Earbud Case?

I purchased it from the Microsoft.com. I went onto my account, then to my devices, then to start order on 'Get service to my device'.

I appreciate the confirmation, AliHunsicker. The Surface earbuds should automatically pair to your replacement charging case. If you charge the charging case and put the earbuds inside the case, you should see an LED light fading in and out white while the case is plugged in.

If the case and the earbuds doesn't charge, make sure if the Surface Earbuds is up to date including its case. You may check this page for the steps to Update Surface Earbuds.

This unfortunately did not work either. the light on the case doesn't turn on at all, and even when i got a second replacement case, it still didn't work.
