Hi Florin Essex,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

For Surface devices that have a USB-C port, you can choose to charge your device using that port with a USB Type-C PD charger. For best performance, we recommend using a USB-C PD charger that provides at least the same wattage as the power supply that was designed for your Surface. For more info about Surface power supplies, see Surface power supplies and charging requirements. A Surface Go 2 will need a USB-C PD charger at 24W or higher. For Surface Laptop Go 2 it requires a charger at 39W or higher.

For more details, see USB-C and Fast Charging for Surface - Microsoft Support.

Kind regards,

Lavenia

Hi Florin,

You can find more information here -> USB-C and Fast Charging for Surface - Microsoft Support

You will need to use a 39W or higher USB-C PD charger for a Surface Laptop Go 2 or a 24W or higher charger for a Surface Go 2.

Hope this helps,

Greg
