My Surface Go 2 has a fingerprint reader but it stopped working. How can I get it to resume? I tried rebooting. I tried stopping services. Windows Update says I'm up to date.
Everything else is working.

For some reason my Surface Laptop Go 2 doesnt have fingerprint recognition, even though when i came to the store i asked some Microsoft employees and they said it did. Does any one know why it doesnt have it? When i go to settings to activate it, it just says that this option is currently unavailable.

Yes thank you. The model I had purchased did not come with fingerprint support. The Microsoft store people assured me that it did, but i dont blame them, they looked like zombies, they were so tired!
