Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

You are right so far, cause I first had the black screens only with my Surface Dock (which btw I can't use any more, cause it's mostly the whole time black xD).
So I'm using my Surface Book without Surface Dock now, and I'm also having the same kind of black screens.
But could also be, I'm having two problems with my SB...
I get black screens on my SB2 docked and not docked. It predominantly happens in Chrome but I also see it in other applications such as MICROSOFT Outlook. We narrowed it down to a GPU driver issues. Surprise surprise. Not. Any ways, Microsoft is aware of the black screens (at least in Chrome) and has someone assigned to investigate (you can check the bug at the Chromium bug tracker). I first reported it 10 months ago so not holding breath.
hey guys, I bought a SB2 a week ago and i'm having this issue, i'm on 1903. I bought this as a work laptop and it's driving me nuts. Over 2K€ for a machine with software issues out of the box ...
I dont know how to install the 1809 version so are there any updates on this ? (apart from the nvidia control panel fix)
thanks
