Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

2019-07-17T20:58:05+00:00 The workaround with changing the Power Management Mode to "prefer maximum power" did not work for me.
I'm still having "black outs" of my screen. I'm using a surface dock with external UHD-Screen. Seems like the connection to the screen interrupts for about a second. But this for many many times in one go.
The only thing the workaround solved is preventing a crash of a program running on the dGPU. Maybe it needs more time to happen. We will see, i'll try and keep u up to date.

2019-07-17T21:42:56+00:00 I didn't have a single disconnect of the dGPU since I changed the power settings, and I have been rendering videos in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder for hours. The workaround works for close to two weeks for me and I am heavily using Lightroom and Illustrator. If I change back the settings to defaults, the dGPU disconnects within two seconds as soon as I open any of those programs. So for me, changing this setting solves the problem reproducibly.
I understand that there might be other configurations where this doesn't work. The workaround was originally proposed in this thread:

2019-07-17T22:16:43+00:00 That blacking out problem is likely an issue with the dock. I've had the same problem (as well as USB and audio connections randomly disconnecting) for years, well before 1903. After the dGPU problem, I rolled back to 1803 (never got 1809) and have still seen the blackouts when under heavy load but not when connected to a monitor directly.
It's likely related to the power supply of both the Surface and the Surface Dock being underpowered (battery drain with heavy dGPU usage even while plugged in), so the dock itself isn't getting enough juice to operate so it "resets."
