Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

Microsoft still don't admit that this issue exist.
They even told me their devices didn't found this problem, while hundreds of users found it and even already know it's caused by 1903(They didn't mention Adobe software and so on)I guess they just tested several daily works such as open a web page or even just put it there and watch.
It's hard for me to roll back too.
I've fed up with their service and no more Microsoft product.
Same problem, GTX 1050 drops out under load.
It has made my surfacebook useless and I fear I might have to transfer to the company mac!
I updated my surface book 2 to windows 10 version 1903 one months ago, I have been having the Nvdia graphic 1060 disconnected from my device, which causes me headache for an entire month ( I can not work properly with the upcoming deadline ). Could Microsoft please fix this problem please?
Hi SomnangBun,
Thank you for bringing this up Microsoft Community. We understand how important it is for you to have a Device that would help you out on your work. We suggest that you perform these steps to get it fix:
Step 1: Make sure that your Surface has the latest Drivers and Firmware installed. To Download drivers and firmware for Surface , you can check which drivers and firmware you need on that link.
Step 2: Go to Device Manager and Observe. Try to detach the keyboard from the tablet and wait for 10-15secs until device manager flickers once or twice.
Step 3: Reattach the keyboard to the tablet and wait until the NVIDIA card/driver pops up in the Device Manager.
Step 4: Perform a normal Shutdown while the card is still visible in the Device manager.
Step 5: While the device is Off, please do a hard reset by pressing the power button and the volume up key for 20 seconds until you will reach to a UEFI interface. Once you are there, click exit and restart.
If this works, we highly encourage you to inform our Community by clicking on Yes or marking my post as an answer. This will help other members who may have the same issue as you. Otherwise, don't hesitate to update us so we can further assist you.
