Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

I have exactly the same problem. When playing League of Legends, my Nvidia GTX 1060 suddenly turns off and disappears from device manager. Please fix it, that firmware update which appeared few days ago in Windows Update section didn't help :/
Does Anybody knows something about the awaited fix for the problem?
I have a Suface Book 2, 13 inches, and I have the same issues with Autodesk Inventor,
I cannot come back to the previous version (more than 10 days to roll back).
Only working with nvidia GTX 1050 at best performance is possible to avoid GTX 1050 dissappears,
the problem is the high consumption of power in this configuration, it was not the case before may update (because was not neccesary to use best performance of the GPU).
it's very frustrating the current situation,
Does anybody knows something?
Thanks

I would not expect a fix any time soon. It is clear by now that Microsoft doesn't care about this issue. I have personally contacted them via various channels (Feedback Hub, Forum, Support, Feedback on Surface Blog Website), highlighting that this is a serious issue that affects many Surface users since endof May. Still, this is not even listed as a known issue. Instead, the Surface Book 2 Update Blog claims the following:
We are listening. Quality is a top priority, and we want to keep you informed about issues impacting customers.
I'm fed up and just ordered a new machine (non-Microsoft). This was the last piece of MS hardware that I bought.
