Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

Just want to check - you folks with 1903, can you go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56261 and download SurfaceBook2_Win10_18362_1901809_0.msi

Then go into device manager and uninstall the Nvidia driver and answer YES to deleting. Do not reboot yet. Run the MSI you downloaded above and THEN reboot.

Do you still have this issue after doing the above or not?

    still have same issue.

@Barb Bowman: As I wrote in my earlier reply: Reinstalling the official drivers brings back the BSODs that this issue started with. Also, it makes no difference w.r.t. the dGPU disconnection issue whatsoever.

Let me repeat this again: This affects Microsoft's very own, top-of-the-line hardware and virtually renders it unusable with official drivers. A quick search on Surface forums confirms that i) a large number of users currently has this issue, and ii) it is easy to reproduce as it happens deterministically simply by running arbitrary GPU-accelerated software. The very least user that have invested thousands of dollars in this device can expect is that the issue is officially acknowledged. It must be added to the list of known issues with 1903 asap so that we can be sure a solution is being worked on.

I wouldn't be half as annoyed if there was an easy option to roll back the update. I noticed the issue only after a couple of days and it took another few days until I had tracked it back to the 1903 update. Letting the rollback option expire after 10 days is a ridiculous policy.

On 18th June I spend 4-5 hours with microsoft agents with feedback hub. They only f*d up my device and left me hanging.. Now my microsoft store doesn't opens and i can't detach because of all microsoft modern apps being open.. Also today I tried Surface book 2 at Curry's store and it has the same problem with the gpu. Surface pro models also has problem with 1903 with Camera crashing, I also tried in the store and it crashes too.
