Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

October 2019 updates

    From a Microsoft employee: " I am told early next year (March time frame) is when we can expect a [new gpu] driver with the fix to be rolled out to the general public."

    Which exact Microsoft employee made that statement and where?

    Seriously? I haven't been able to use my Adobe software for months now. Photo shop will at least function without the Nvidia, but Premiere won't. BSOD every time I try to use this $$$ GPU. I'm no programmer, but months for a driver issue on a $2800+ machine?

    After the keynote where it looks as though Microsoft has washed their hands of the Surface Book 3, I'd say we're up a certain creek without a paddle.

    It's SIX MONTHS that people are being forced to work with what is now a glorified Surface Laptop.

    You couldn't make up this stuff!
