Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

2019-12-11T14:08:38+00:00 I just enrolled hoping for some luck here and nothing after the update (now running Win 10 19037.1)... Nvidia GPU driver is still 4/4/2018 v23.21.13.9140.
Previously I was getting a blue screen perhaps once a day (ever since upgrade to 1903, which I realized too late to back it out). We'll see if this changes anything.
I have noticed that most of my blue screen issues (or just black screen complete lock ups) tend to occur when I am docking/un-docking from the hub, or shortly thereafter.
Hub = Surface Dock?

Them what I did was after reconnecting the parts, remove the driver of nvidia on device manager (uninstall option), download the driver from nvidia website, restart the unit, install it, after another restart disconnecting the parts for 5 seconds and reconnecting
So far no issues.... Curiously, now there is on the task bar, on the part of apps running on background an extra little grey window that tells what apps are running with the GPU, and a green button to click if I want to disconnect it.... I updated the driver several times and this never showed up, only after doing this procedure above
