Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

so not sure if that's what caused me to get these updates or not?
Microsoft tests Surface firmware and drivers in the Insiders rings...
Hey, folks... so today I received a bunch of updates via Windows Update that included a new Nvidia GPU driver for my Surface Book 2.
For reference, I'm running Win 10 Pro Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.113). I am subscribed to the slow release cycle of Windows Insider -- although I'm set to opt out at the next major release -- so not sure if that's what caused me to get these updates or not?
My new Nvidia GPU driver went from the 2018 version to 12/10/2019 26.21.14.3218.
Too soon to say if this fixes any of the GPU-disappearing issues I've experienced repeatedly, but we'll see I suppose.
Here's the Windows Update screen capture... although I ended up having to reboot about 3x before everything finished, including the firmware updates.

Thank you very much for the update
Any updates to the Intel driver?
The Intel driver has bugs too
