Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

OK,really thanks!I'll have a try.
I guess their might be some problem in the shifting between the GPUs or power managing maybe,if this could work.
Hope Microsoft can fix this sooner...
This issue is a total disgrace for Microsoft. Customers of their top line of devices are totally left in the dark. We are now four weeks into the issue, and this is still not even listed as a known issue. The Surface Book 2 is now basically unusable for serious work for almost a month.
On top of that, Microsoft has the chuzpe to write this on the Surface 2 update status page:
Known issues and additional information about Surface Book 2
We are listening. Quality is a top priority, and we want to keep you informed about issues impacting customers.
I have the same issue with my surface book 2 1060 - try to load a game and game stalls and gpu disappears. I can go into device manager and scan to bring it back, but I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers both studio and game ready, and it occurs with both driver types.
EDIT: Should we be installing all of those updates listed on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56261 ???
EDIT 2: I've rolled back the 1903 update and everything works fine again
