Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.
October 2019 updates

2019-12-08T17:18:15+00:00 Is anyone currently enrolled in the Insider Program with a SB2 13.5" with dGPU running latest Insider build? If so, can you please let us all know whether there is an updated GPU driver? Version and date from device manager would be excellent.
Microsoft keeps claiming there is a new GPU driver coming in Spring 2020 and its currently available in the insider builds. I have spent 100+ hours dealing with my SB2 reinstalling, replacing hardware, tech support, etc, and do not have any more time to try insider and see for myself whether they are lying or not. Regardless, its unacceptable that the black screens have been a known issue for MORE than one year now, they have confirmed a new GPU driver will fix, yet the only GPU driver released is from April 2018 - almost two years old!
