New Surface Pro 7 shutting down randomly

I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

    I have had my Surface Pro for less than a month.  I have recently had an issue with random shut downs. Then it froze and would not shut down.  So I held the power button for over 30-seconds and it shut down.  Now it won't turn on.  I have used the keyboard cover and taken it off the keyboard cover with the same results.

    HELP!  I have work to do!

    Tried this solution and still encountering the same issue!

    *watching video, surface shuts down

    *reading book via kindle app, surface shuts down or screen freezes. 

    *during use, screen adjusts as if altering display due to surrounding light conditions, then goes dark but screen is still on. 

    This is my 3rd surface, bought 4 weeks ago, never encountered this before.

    Here are the steps:

    Settings -> System -> Power & Sleep -> Additional Power Settings ->

    [On Power options, over your current power plan] -> Click "Change Plan settings" -> Change advance power settings ->

    [On Power Options] -> Processor power management -> Cpu cooling policy -> [And set]

    On battery: Passive,

    Plugged in: Passive

    Click [OK] and done.

    I had this problem from the first day I bought the Surface Pro 7, Core i7 Black 512GB.

    I found out: tablet is over heating and causing the random shutdown specially when it is being charged.

    I somehow control this random shutdown by setting the control temperature method in power setting to passive. But yet the problem exists, but it is very rare now.

    I am waiting for the fix now.

    Can you guide me where exactly I can set this control method? Thks!
