I am using surface pro 7 for only two days, since 3/18/2020. Purchase this to teach classes from home during the COVID-19 outbreak. The screen froze once, system shutdown four times. Updated the windows version and did other diagnoses as recommended, but no luck! I noticed that the moment I unplug the power, the screen either frozen or system shutdown. I am worried that if this happens while I am teaching a class.
New Surface Pro 7 shutting down randomly
I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

2020-03-15T07:43:40+00:00 A whole month has passed and yet MS has not come up with a solution. They do realise this right that both Surface X and Surface Pro 7 have failed to meet the requirements of the users, and have been nothing but a disappointment. I thought that SP 7 would be nothing like X, but both are having unexplainable issues.

2020-03-10T12:43:14+00:00 This is not a solution. Is Microsoft investigating? Can they promise a fix? Unfortunately, I will be exchanging this device tomorrow for a Macbook. I really love this device, but MS just can't be relied on.

2020-03-10T12:39:55+00:00 Same here on my Surface Pro 7 that I bought 2 days ago. Seems to be widespread. Where is Microsoft with a response?
