Surface Duo 2 Camera Zoom Settings Issue

Hi,

For some reason, when I open the camera app for my Surface Duo 2, I no longer have the three settings for zooming...0.5x 1.0x and 2.0x. It only has 1x and 2x now.

What can I do? I have tried clearing the cache and clearing the data. I cannot uninstall/install the camera app.

Can you please enter safe mode on the device and see if the issue is still present in that mode?

Instructions to enter safe mode: <ol><li>Press and hold the power button until the "Power menu" appears</li><li>Press and hold on the "Restart" and a pop-up should appear to reboot to safe mode.</li><li>Press 'OK' and your device will reboot into safe mode.</li><li>You can verify you are in safe mode by seeing the "Safe mode" watermark in the lower-left of the screen.</li><li>In order to get back into normal boot mode, simply restart the device by either clicking 'Restart' in the power menu or by shutting down and rebooting.</li></ol>

If the same thing happens there, then one of the Cameras may have failed and you device would need to be replaced to regain this function

Thank you for this help, and I apologize for the long wait. A few days after the camera quit, my phone's battery went down to zero. After I powered it back it, the camera stopped working.

Just today, though, the camera quit working. I suppose I will do a return/replacement request.
