How do I connect my Surface GO 3 using Cellular AND USB-C to Ethernet connection at the same time?

Just purchased a Surface Go 3 so that I could connect to the internet using the cellular connection AND an ethernet adapter to connect to an intranet but when I plug the ethernet cable in to the switch or router, the cellular connection drops. I need to be able to have my support team connect to my Surface GO using TeamViewer or other remote connections so that they can connect to the network equipment while I'm on site. If the network I am plugging in is not connected to the internet yet, my team needs to be able to connect to my Surface Go remotely and configure the hard line network. Thanks to all for your help.

    Hello Donald Cary,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I understand how important this set up is for your device.

If I may ask, were you trying to do a mobile hotspot using the cellular connection while the ethernet connection is active?

If yes, for you to provide a mobile hotspot, the cellular connection needs to be the main source of network alone. But as far as we know, there is no option on the device to set the Cellular Data as the main source of internet while the LAN ethernet or Wi-Fi is active. Just like any other devices, these connections do not work at the same time, Most likely, the device will prioritize the ethernet or Wi-Fi connection which has a more stable connection.

I hope this helps. Otherwise, don't hesitate to respond to this thread if there’s anything else that needs to be addressed.
