Surface Duo 2 Launcher keeps crashing

As the title states, in the last few days, I have had Launcher crashing repeatedly. Just lately, I get a completely blank screen if I restart my phone (has screens aver but no icons and when I drag down from top of screen it will not stay). The last time my phone was in a stasis where I couldn't even get the restart/shutdown screen to remain - it just kept flashing up and then disappearing before I could hit restart. I kept locking and unlocking and eventually it sorted itself out.

    Did you buy it brand new, second hand?

    Maybe a factory reset would help.

    Also, do you use it for work,? Meaning are your teams and outlook apps managed by an organization... As that additional security may cause issues with a launcher.

    You could try the latest beta of Microsoft Launcher. That might indicate to you if they are working on this issue.

    I must admit, I've not seen a Launcher crash on a Duo in many-many months now.

    I never had this until the latest July update, so have a feeling it's come from this.

    But I've only had limited experience... Others may know more.
