Surface Duo 2 Launcher keeps crashing

As the title states, in the last few days, I have had Launcher crashing repeatedly. Just lately, I get a completely blank screen if I restart my phone (has screens aver but no icons and when I drag down from top of screen it will not stay). The last time my phone was in a stasis where I couldn't even get the restart/shutdown screen to remain - it just kept flashing up and then disappearing before I could hit restart. I kept locking and unlocking and eventually it sorted itself out.

    That's what mine did. Factory reset fixed it, keeping in mind it's only been 8 days since then... But seems better.

    Unless you got for an unofficial ROM, (XDA) you are stuck with this version.

    my errors were when I was opening MS outlook and Ms teams in full screen. But don't believe it's the apps, think it's duel screen and launcher issue.

    Sent the error logs (I believe) but may have crashed/restarted the device while doing that.

    Same here. Only a week old phone. Is Microsoft doing anything about it?

    Same. Happened last week, and gave me the option to'reset' the launcher... Did that and lost all personalized settings. Back to default look.

    Then did it again last night. So did a factory restore.

    Since then, it's been overnight, a couple hours using for work this morning, and seems ok... But not been long enough to judge.

    I've only had my duo 2 for 6 weeks, but generally I do factory restores on my android devices every 6 months to keep them running well. Hope that's it for 12 months for me. 😁

    I never had this until the latest July update, so have a feeling it's come from this.

    But I've only had limited experience... Others may know more.
