I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked

We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.

You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.

To resolve this issue, please contact Support."

I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.

When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks,
Matt

    Same issues here.

Fund my account on 25 March, account suspended on 27 March. Asked for refund on 6 April.

Contacted multiple chat support, all of them say will look into this issue and expedite my case but no reply email from "these supports" after.

Till now still waiting for their refund to come.

Let's see how long they going to refund my fund.

Ya, it just makes no sense. I just have a normal Shopify Store selling Kitchen Products & Appliances and I never even ran an Ad & I got suspended. So absolutely no clue?

My account is also blocked. Here's the deal.

I run an agency, mostly Google Ads. After pitching Microsoft Ads to my customers several bought in, so i setup my account with Microsoft Ads.

In Google Ads, you can create an ads account, make the customer a billing admin, so that they can enter their CC info, and we can begin managing their ads.

I took the same approach with Microsoft Ads, but quickly realized that when you make customers billing admin on their ads account, they can see all the other customers Names, and CC on file. Yikes. So we quickly had to pivot into another direction.

I setup email groups in O365, one for each customer which allowed me to register an ads account uniquely for each customer, which would resolve the CC problem of each customer. This worked as the customer was able to login and enter their CC info.

Then BAM! My account was locked. I went through a few weeks of support calls, and finally ended up with this email:

Good day! This is Laisa from Microsoft Advertising. I hope this email finds you well. This is regarding the account review. *Based on the investigation, your account will remain closed. For privacy and security reasons, we cannot provide details around your specific account closure but the account was determined to be high risk to other customers or advertisers, as stated in ourEditorial GuidelinesandTerms of Use.******Please know that our account specialist has taken this matter seriously and has thoroughly investigated the issue. This decision is final, and we consider the issue closed.*******If you have questions or if you wish to discuss this further, you can reply here or you may also contact our US based support team at 1-800-518-5689 between Mon—Fri: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT. or chat with us from Monday to Sunday 24/7 for accurate response.

I've never had such a hard time trying to bring someone customers and money. It feels like an uphill battle with Microsoft Ads. For now, we just have to push Ad budgets that were intended for Microsoft Ads back to Google Ads.
