I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,
"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked
We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.
You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.
To resolve this issue, please contact Support."
I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.
When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.
Can someone please help me resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Matt

Matt, check with them,
In my case they have refunded smth like 300$ that I have transferred to them.
I just got the same issue and Microsoft won't tell me why or what is going on. I've called twice and chatted once an each time they say that there is nothing that they can do. I did not even place the first ad. Matthew, maybe it is an ESG thing, MS not wanting to be be serving industries that it disagrees with.
I have never been so frustrated, ran into the same thing and complained to 3 different support folks that I got connected to. I just could not believe that there was no specific explanation and that the people kept reading from the same script, decision is final, no recourse. Getting banned before I placed the first ad in the account! I am connected to an advertising agency and wanted to start using Bing ads for the targeting, but no more. It must be an ESG thing, Microsoft banning fossil fuel industry ads as part of a climate change statement.
I'm angry that this is happening but relieved that I'm not the only one.
I just started a consulting business and would like to run ads for my business and on the behalf of my clients.
I entered my personal and business information, kept the default "ad" that it created and when I entered my payment information I was told there was a mismatch. I tried 3 other credit cards and all came back with the same message. I know my cards are accurate as I was copying and pasting the information from my digital vault.
While in the middle of the application I reached out to chat with an agent and they come back and tell me that my account is banned and the decision is final. They tell me that there was a review and no appealing this decision.
Now mind you I was probably 5 minutes into the setup process and this chat took place maybe another 2 minutes later. So tell me how is Microsoft able to do a comprehensive review of my website and predict what my ads are going to look like to come to this decision?
I argued with the agent but like all of you I ended up with the usual, "we can't provide details" but I know this is all bullcrap because there is no way any review was completed in that short period of time.
Of course there is nothing on my site that violates their policies as I cater to professionals so my content has nothing questionable.
Well I wanted to give MS a chance here but I guess Google will win out again.
Anyone have any success getting behind the wall and actually having someone perform a manual review and admit they're mistaken?
