Managing permissions and login credentials to access Microsoft Advertising accounts
Hi Andre,
thanks a lot, this is the most reasonable and making sense statement I read in the forum. Thanks again. My account was blocked for no reason, just like that...I had my website connected for years, but I decided to use Big Commerce Channel Manager and reconnect it(and that was recommended by Microsoft customer service, even she asked the supervisor to approve it because she didn't know what to do)...and I was blocked, exactly the same reason...
"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked
We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.
You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address...."
SAME ACCOUNT, AND THE SAME WEBSITE...BUT SUDDENLY, I WAS BLOCKED!!!And when I contacted customer support..." For privacy and security reasons, we cannot provide details about your specific account closure but the account was determined to be high risk to other customers or advertisers..." I couldn't believe it...It was like a joke to me...That's so funny!!!
Andre, you are absolutely right...guys stay with Google Ads
Thanks Andre, thanks Ivan and Matt. It happened to me, and I run the marketing for a company with 7 locations, in multiple cities. I set this up with Bing / Microsoft Ads as I wanted to target a specific demographic that leans that way and I have used it strategically in the past with/for other companies. The C suite must be okay with going backwards, creating a horrible user experience and losing money in the process. This sucks especially because we need viable alternatives to Google and Facebook (Meta), If anyone know of other Platforms as an alternative, please let me know, us know.
