I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked

We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.

You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.

To resolve this issue, please contact Support."

I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.

When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks,
Matt

Google does the same thing with no answers there either. I thought Bing was different but apparently the little guys don't deserve answers and it seems to be industry wide.

I wish I could help but I have the same problem. And the worst part is, the people who can actually give answers don't talk to customers!

I just created a new Microsoft Ads account and it was almost instantly suspended within 15 minutes, before I even had a chance to put in my credit card info. I read through every possible reason they listed in the suspension email and it's very clear that my account or ad doesn't even come remotely close to violating anything they mention in their email. I called support and asked what was going on - the rep could only tell me over and over (like a robot) that my account was suspended, but when asked why, they apparently don't know why. I already know why - it was suspended because their team or their AI made a mistake and got a little overzealous on the security patrol - a classic "Paul Blart" move. Whether the mistake was made by a human or AI, it's a major failure and loudly screams of incompetence. Maybe this is why Bing still can't manage to snag any more than a 4% market share and Google continues to embarrass them with more than a 90% market share?!?!?! Anyway, I refused to waste my time on an appeal, as that's a hoop I shouldn't have to jump through, so apparently the phone rep initiated an appeal process for me. It's bad enough to accidentally suspend an account for a brand new customer trying to do business with you, but telling them it will take up to 10 days to receive an appeal response - that's extremely toxic icing on an already nasty cake. Come on Microsoft, you guys can do better. One of the biggest shames in business is being so big that you resolve customer issues just if and when you get around to it, as if the issue has no negative impact on your customers. It's also sad that a ton of other people are posting very similar comments, which means Microsoft has been well aware of the issue for some time, and still won't allocate the resources to fix it. The next time you guys say anything along the lines of you caring about your customers, think twice before speaking. I'm heading back over to Google where at least my same ad was up and running with no problems.

I created two accounts today which both got banned in less than 5minutes after putting in my information. What the heck is going on? I guess I'll have to go to google ads.
