My Microsoft ads account got suspended before I even created a campaign .

I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked

We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.

You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.

To resolve this issue, please contact Support."

I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.

When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

    I am having the same issue.

    Chat and appealed twice but still getting the same feedback that they are longer able to reinstate my account.

    Based on my understanding, it is due to these few possible reasons.

    • Your IP has been blacklisted resulting your account being flagged as high risk. Probably someone login to some high risks sites which you are not aware off.
    • Your advertised URL has been infected with malware. You may not aware it as the site is still functioning as normal.
    • Your credit card info has been flagged high risk despite being a legit card. This may probably due to your card info being stolen by hackers on other sites and raise the attention by Microsoft AI.

    May I know which country are you from?

    Spent quite a bit of time with their "support," filed an appeal. Decision came through that my account has been permanently banned. Zero information regarding why, and they never reached out to ask for more information from me or confirm any of my business details.

    Still have no clue why it was shut down. Absolutely ridiculous, especially because one of their "specialists" helped me set up the account in the first place.

    Their support is kind a ......

    One of the times when I got banned, I've opened MS Ads, and contacted support team, so we together started to create an account, I was following his leads/instructions, and double confirmed with him every step.

    Guess what, during adding the campaign, I've noticed that I couldn't select the GEO exactly as I need.

    So I've not simply refreshed the page, but logged out and tried to log in, but got this magic message - Your account has been suspended

    Same thing just happened to me. Wasn't even done setting it up and all I did was try to import a Google Ad as suggested.

    This is ****. How can someone do something wrong if they do exactly what they are told?
