Hi team,

We have a few VPP apps in Intune that are no longer in use, and we would like to permanently delete them. As far as I know, before deleting a VPP app, we first need to revoke all the assigned licenses and then transfer any available licenses to another location in the Apple Business Manager (ABM) portal.

However, I couldn’t find the app "Adobe Creative Cloud" under the Apps & Books section in ABM, so we were unable to transfer its available licenses to another location.

Could you please advise how we can delete this app from the Intune portal?

Thanks!

Looking for a quick response.

In our case, we discovered that orphaned VPP apps remain visible in the Apps section of Apple Business Manager. While the app does not appear when searching for its name, the trick is simply to scroll through the list of all your VPP apps to locate it. Once found, the licenses can be transferred to another location in the usual way.

@Pauline Mbabu , I'm not seeing in the article you shared where it would allow deleting of an orphaned VPP app that's no longer in ABM. Am I missing something? My company has multiple apps in this situation that I'd like to delete, like the Intune Managed Browser.
