Microsoft teams application in ubuntu is creating below trouble when a teams call is in progress.
If a keyboard button is pressed in any application, hundreds of that character is appearing in the application. It happens in all the applications (text editor, browser, teams chat window itself), etc
This should be resolved as soon as possible please

Installing the Teams application for Ubuntu started to be smooth, but after a few days started to be very hard to manage. Every time I need to use Teams to have calls, the computer simply blocks the mouse, or blocks the keyboard, or even if I switch from applications and use the keyboard to type characters, it repeat those characters duzens of times.
For example if I type Hello, the laptop writes HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Other times, frezes the screen. Another mal-functionality is that doesn't detect automatically bluetooth headset automatically. I can ear the ring to attende the call, but when I enter in the call I don't ear anyone.
The only solution is to force the shutdown for all of these cases reported above. My laptop is a Lenovo E470.

I am facing the same issue. I use an HP 240 laptop with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Very annoying.

Also, as mentioned in one my previous comments, pls communicate whether any teams application logs will help you diagnose the issue...!
Issue is definitely there, and we have to find ways in reproducing in your environment.

I am facing the same issue. Ubuntu 18.04 , Lenovo L480 , Teams latest version. Did you find any solution ?
