Teams App Localization Not Reflecting – Need Help

Reproduction Steps:

1.Followed the official Microsoft Teams localization documentation:

2.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/concepts/build-and-test/apps-localization

3.Created localization files (e.g., en-us.json, fr-fr.json) and updated the manifest.json accordingly.

4.Uploaded our custom Teams app using the manual upload method in Teams (see Image 1).

5.Changed the language from Teams settings to test localization (e.g., switched to French).

6.Observed that the app name and description did not change based on the selected language.

7.To cross-check, we downloaded and uploaded the sample app from Microsoft’s official GitHub repo:

(see Image 2 with yellow marked) — even this app did not reflect localized changes.

Thank you for your patience! We were able to reproduce the issue in the [Desktop/Web] Teams version [25072.1611.3570.1995.]. We have reported this as a bug for further investigation.
