Network file sharing not working between Windows 11 & Windows 10

Hello, we have an office where there are several Desks, recently one of the employees upgraded their computers from windows 10 to windows 11, we had all of the computers set up for Local file sharing over the network, now for some reason since the upgrade, the Win11 PC can still see all the other Win10 PC's but none of the Win10 PC's can see or access the Win11 PC, we checked all the settings, and nothings changes, SMB is enabled on all PC's, and running same IP address's, file sharing in the network sharing center is still all turned on.

Any idea what caused this?

    I was able to create a work around for this problem. It appears that the computer name is not being shared to the network, but I was able to connect to the SMB share using the IP address, directly.

    e.g. \<Sharing computer IP address>&lt;sharename>

    Network browsing does not work, but I can map drives, or browse to the IP address in the file browser.

    I already tried to do the SMB

    But I still cannot share using network sharing.

    Can you please give me an example of where you are entering in the IP address to connect to the other device?

    Same here... Windows 11 laptop can access all of the Windows 10 shares on various PCs, but not the other way round.

    I can 'see' the Windows 11 machine in Windows Explorer in all the Windows 10 machines, but when I click or try to open it, it thinks for about 20 seconds, then pops up with an error window (see below) - "SurfaceGo2" is the offending Windows 11 machine.

    I've tried every supposed 'fix' I've found online, but nothing helps.

    I can ping the Windows 11 machine from all of the Windows 10 systems, but that's about as much connectivity I get.

    There is obviously an issue with Windows networking.

    Island fishing, when you say Ping, are you using the Name, or the IP?

    I have found that using the IP seem to work for me. e.g. \111.222.333.444&lt;sharename>

    I then map a drive using the NET USE DOS command.
