Good Morning

I wanted to Know if i can use Windows server 2022 CAL license on a Windows Server 2019

Can somebody help?

    No, you cannot use a Windows Server 2022 Client Access License (CAL) with a Windows Server 2019. CALs are version-specific, meaning a Windows Server 2022 CAL is intended for accessing Windows Server 2022, while a Windows Server 2019 CAL is intended for accessing Windows Server 2019.

    Hello,

    RDS CAL is compatible with older versions of servers (backward compatibility). For example, you can use RDS 2019 CAL to deploy Windows Server 2016&2019.

    For the Windows Server 2022(session host) you are using, the corresponding RDS 2022 CAL is required for deployment at this time.
