Hi everyone

Is there now a solution for the problem as it was discussed in this article?

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/printing-issues-macos-rdp-windows-10/ee0cf857-f0d9-4a55-b644-17833acbeef1?page=2

I have still the same problem that landscape oriented documents on the Windows RD machine are printed in portrait orientation on the MAC Clients printers. Preview is correct in landscape.

It would be great if someone has a solution - thanks in advance.

Daniel

Thanks Jacen for your quick reply.
On the server side we use EasyPrint so the client printers are redirected and the drivers of the local installed printer will be used.

On the client side (Mac) we installed the specific HP-driver for the model at the place of the native MAC driver. >>still the same result.

I will follow your recommendation to submit this symptom to the develeoppers of the MAC remote application (Windows App).

    Best

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community forum.

I understand that your document orientation on your Windows remote device does not match the printer Settings on your Mac client, but it works fine during print preview.

It is recommended that you first confirm that the orientation setting for Print Preferences is set to landscape. Also make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on both your remote Windows computer and your local Mac.

If you have completed these steps and the problem persists, it may be a specific compatibility issue between the remote desktop application or driver for Mac and the Windows RD environment. I strongly recommend that you submit this symptom through the feedback feature of the Mac Remote desktop application. This is the most effective way for users like you to communicate with product engineers, to help them notice problems, and to help fix them in future releases.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Best regards

    Jacen
