Windows server Per device CAL - Tracking ID

Hi,

I have a ordered along with Dell server a Windows server 2022 Per device CAL License-5 - I have received a Microsoft hologram sticker with TRACKING ID. How to get Remote desktop CAL License from Tracking ID ?

Microsoft customer support has no clue about this. how Microsoft is issuing Hologram for CAL license with just tracking id in it and no one in customer support knows about it.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I'm sorry, but you can't follow the path I provided. It may be that the options have changed. Or you can contact your licensee and they will be held responsible. You can ask them for a usable license code or agreement number. This is necessary information at the time of license installation. Microsoft Customer Support also needs this information to help you check or confirm.

    I beleive this request was made on my behalf. I have logged in but cannot get to point 3 in your list, the option is just not there.

    Microsoft are making this very difficult to get the licence details I paid for. Not good from an IT company.

    I understand that you have received a Windows Server 2022 Per Device CAL License with a tracking ID hologram sticker and you are wondering how to obtain the Remote Desktop CAL License from the tracking ID.

    To obtain the Remote Desktop CAL License, you will need to activate the Windows Server 2022 Per Device CAL License using the tracking ID.

    You can do this by following the steps below:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) website at https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.
    3. Click on the "Licenses" tab and select "Relationship Summary".
    4. Find the Windows Server 2022 Per Device CAL License in the list and click on the "Activate" button.
    5. Enter the tracking ID hologram sticker number when prompted.
    6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.

    Once the Windows Server 2022 Per Device CAL License is activated, you should be able to obtain the Remote Desktop CAL License from the VLSC website.
