I have a ordered along with Dell server a Windows server 2022 Per device CAL License-5 - I have received a Microsoft hologram sticker with TRACKING ID. How to get Remote desktop CAL License from Tracking ID ?
Microsoft customer support has no clue about this. how Microsoft is issuing Hologram for CAL license with just tracking id in it and no one in customer support knows about it.

Trying to access the The Volume Licensing Service Center. (VLSC) the response was that it has been retired and All Volume Licensing Serivce Center functionalities can now be Accessed through the Microsoft M365 admin center
But in Microsoft M365 Admin Center is not available anything related to "Windows Server 2022 Per Device CAL License" can you give any advice to activate the cal license in my server.

Hi,
Actually windows has two type of CAL- Remote desktop and Server CAL. we wanted Remote desktop CAL but by mistake we ordered Server CAL.
Server CAL I still dont know what exactly its for . but for taking a remote desktop from one computer to server we need to have Remote desktop CAL license.
both Server CAL and Remote desktop CAL comes with per device / Per user model.
Server CAL comes with just a tracking number.
Remote desktop CAL comes with proper license key no.
